Dan Paris – Co Founder
Dan Paris began working in the online industry in 1999, and under the tutelage of Phil Craven from WebWorkShop, learned the fundamentals of best practice SEO, before officially launching Info Vilesilencer in 2004, the internet’s first SEO friendly directory list. For a decade Dan applied his directory expertise to the industry, shaping the future of directories through mentoring and collaboration with directory owners and developers. Dan also built up a network of agencies during this time, providing them with a professional submission service for their multitudes of clients.
In October of 2013, Dan caught the attention of Bruce Clay Australia (later taken over by Resolution Media) where he expanded his knowledge to enterprise-level whitehat SEO methodology and quickly became known as “the local guru” in house. By working with such enterprise level clients as Mantra Hotels, McDonalds, Suncorp Bank and Domino’s on their local optimisation Dan has a depth-of-knowledge second to none in the local AU marketplace. Dan’s passion for local runs deep and what motivates him is applying his successful formula, built over a decade in the industry, to small SMBs to ensure they become a formidable competitor in their own markets.
Daniel Hornung – Co Founder
Daniel has been in online marketing since 2008, first starting at a boutique agency where he learned all things digital. Seeing his opportunity in SEO he began working at content marketing agencies, firstly at Edge in Manly and then at Resolution/PHD. Daniel is now with Reprise Media as a SEO Specialist overseeing a range of roles and clients. During this time Daniel has worked on clients such as: Suncorp Bank, Electrolux, Weight Watchers, Shop a Docket, Sydney Airport, Herringbone and Kia Australia. Daniel’s broad SEO knowledge is founded in best practice whitehat methodology and he rounds this out with solid social media skills and a flair for content marketing and distribution. Daniel is an effective partnership builder and works tirelessly for his clients to ensure he makes their business a success.
Through agile techniques and trello-based time management Daniel is an effective project manager delivering high value assets to clients within set turnaround times. Within the local optimisation space he has created a knack for taking clients pain points and resolving them with a minimum of fuss. This unorthodox approach to local has created a wealth of knowledge in maps, Google and citations which can be tapped into to solve issues seamlessly.
